Who we are

Solving the infrastructure problems others can't.

Engineering knowledge and commercial experience, brought to every engagement.

AusInfra Partners works where infrastructure takes shape. We bring engineering and commercial experience from major projects to owners, investors and contractors who need senior help without building a large in-house team.

We don't just advise from the outside. Where it helps, we step into your project environment to assess, stabilise and deliver, then leave you with systems that keep working after we've gone.

What we do

Three service lines. One integrated capability.

Each service line strengthens the others. Technical and commercial advice is sharper for being grounded in how work is actually planned, priced and delivered.

01 · Technical advisory

Technical due diligence

Independent engineering assessment of renewable energy and infrastructure assets, for owners, investors and lenders.

  • Independent engineering assessments
  • Asset acquisition due diligence
  • Construction quality reviews
  • Operational performance analysis
  • O&M plan optimisation
  • Regulatory compliance advisory
02 · Commercial services

Commercial, contract & project recovery

Experienced commercial support at critical points in a project, from the first subcontract review to stabilising a project in distress.

  • Contract and subcontract reviews
  • Contract administration: variations, claims, EOTs, payment
  • After-hours commercial support for contractors
  • Distressed project recovery
  • Contingent commercial resourcing
  • Tender commercial reviews and risk
03 · Project services

Tender, methodology & project controls

The estimating, submissions and work planning documents that win the job and satisfy the head contractor, prepared to Tier 1 standard.

  • Estimating
  • Tender submissions
  • Work methodology and work method statements
  • Work planning documentation and work packs
  • Risk assessment
  • Project controls: programme, cost and reporting
Project services · The problem we solve

Great at the work. Stuck on the paperwork.

The Tier 1 contractor asks for work method statements and work packs before you can mobilise. You know exactly how to do the job. You just don't know how to write it the way they need to see it, and every rejected submission costs time on site.

We take this register from returned to accepted.
  1. Read the requirementThe subcontract, scope, specifications and the Tier 1's own management plans and templates, so we know exactly what will be checked.
  2. Capture how you really do the workA site walk or a conversation with your supervisor. Your method, your crew, your plant, in your sequence.
  3. Write it to Tier 1 standardWork methodology, work packs, risk assessments and controls set out in the format and language the head contractor expects.
  4. Close out comments until acceptedWe respond to review comments and resubmit, so your team stays on the tools.

The same discipline carries into estimating, tender submissions and project controls: a price you can defend, a submission that answers the brief, and a programme and cost reporting the head contractor trusts.

Commercial support for civil contractors

Your day ends. Ours begins.

Running a civil contracting business means the work doesn't stop when the site closes. Contracts, variations, claims, EOTs and payment issues get pushed aside because there isn't enough time in the day. We provide experienced commercial support to a limited number of contractors and specialist subcontractors, at the time you can actually deal with it.

Ad hoc support

A contract, claim or notice worked through when it lands, charged by the hour.

Monthly support

A set number of hours each month. A commercial back office without the salary.

Project support

An agreed fixed fee for a defined scope, such as a tender review or a claim.

No weekend penalty ratesEvenings and weekends are charged at the same rates as any other time.
“We've just received this subcontract.”

Reviewed that evening, with the key risks, departures and questions back before the next site day.

“Our variation's been knocked back.”

We work through the entitlement, the notices and the evidence, and draft the response.

“We need to respond to this notice by Monday.”

We settle the position and the reply, and flag early if a lawyer is needed.

The bridge

Between project delivery and legal advice

Project deliveryWhat happened on site
Commercial positionWhere we sit
Legal adviceWhen it's genuinely needed

We help you identify the issue, understand the commercial position, work out what needs to be done and decide when specialist legal advice is required.

Lawyers are engaged when they're genuinely needed, with a clear brief, rather than every time a contractual issue comes up.

AusInfra Partners provides commercial and technical advice. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice.

How we work

Our engagement approach

The same four steps whether we're assessing an asset, recovering a project or supporting a contractor through a claim.

01

Understand

A technical and commercial assessment of your project, its constraints and what you need from it.

02

Embed

We work alongside your team in your project environment, not from a distance.

03

Stabilise

Address the risk, arrest any distress and restore commercial and operational control.

04

Deliver

Outcomes, systems and frameworks that stay with your organisation after we leave.

Why AusInfra

The AusInfra difference

Senior people, practical answers and a team that understands both the engineering and the contract.

Engineering-led

We focus on work that shortens your path from engineering to delivery. A technical partner, not a transactional service.

Both sides of the contract

More than 20 years inside Tier 1 contractors means we know how head contractors and subcontractors each see the same clause.

Embedded, not just advisory

We step into your project to plan, document and stabilise, then hand back systems that keep working.

Available when you are

Contractor support runs evenings and weekends, without weekend penalty rates.

Full lifecycle

From due diligence and tendering through delivery planning and project controls to long-term operation.

Small by design

We take on a limited number of clients so every engagement gets senior attention and fast response.

Why now

More work is coming. So is more contract.

South East Queensland's infrastructure pipeline is growing toward the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games, alongside the national energy transition. More smaller contractors will work under sophisticated contracts issued by Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors, and more assets will change hands, needing independent technical review.
